Why did you want to be part of the Citizen’s Assembly?
My grandmother was Milicent Dean and was always involved in local politics. I’ve always been interested in local history. It’s just nice to feel like you have got a say in things.
What do you hope a Torfaen Deal will achieve?
I want to feel like residents are being listened to.

Why did you want to be part of the Citizen’s Assembly?
I wanted to represent people in my age group. If things are going to change, it’s no good moaning about it. It’s better to be involved.

I would like to see health inequalities reduced.

It’s a good opportunity to see what’s going on. I don’t see a lot in my community for people who are single like myself.

I live in Llanyravon, my mum, sister and family live in Llanyravon so I feel a strong sense of community.

I’ve not long had twins, and I would like the Torfaen Deal to shape a better tomorrow for them.

I moved to Torfaen four years ago and I’ve decided to make it my home. This is a really nice way of feeling part of the community.
