Cemeteries Review 2026

Torfaen Council is committed to working with the residents to provide a high a level of service as possible. Feedback from the questionnaire will be used to improve the service by adjusting priorities and processes where appropriate and where the budget is available.

The questionnaire below covers all aspects of our cemeteries and aims to gather information from family members to help us improve the service. These questions include your experience with staff, at the time of a funeral and afterwards, the cemeteries' grounds and memorials.

Llwyncelyn Cemetery only – Future Options

Torfaen County Borough Council is currently exploring options to enhance Llwyncelyn Cemetery. We would like your views on the following:

Kerbset graves (traditional burial plot bordered by stone, marble or granite kerbs, clearly identifying a set border)

Sanctum Columbaria (an above ground-level vault for cremated remains)
