Cemeteries Review 2026

Torfaen Council is committed to working with the residents to provide a high a level of service as possible. Feedback from the questionnaire will be used to improve the service by adjusting priorities and processes where appropriate and where the budget is available.

The questionnaire below covers all aspects of our cemeteries and aims to gather information from family members to help us improve the service. These questions include your experience with staff, at the time of a funeral and afterwards, the cemeteries' grounds and memorials.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this questionnaire. It should take less than 10 minutes to complete. There is a comments box at the end for any additional feedback. Your responses are valued and will be fed back to the service team.

Grave Personalisation

The Council currently has a policy to prevent the proliferation of items on graves, which visitors may find inappropriate. This could include items that prevent grass cutting such as glass items, stone chippings, fencing or windmills, musical items, candles, solar lights, balloons etc.

Do you agree with the policy?

* required
15.

Apart from initial notification at time of burial, to ensure compliance with this policy do you agree that items should be removed without further notice after this time?
