Torfaen's libraries are FREE to join and offer so much more than books; these days they are evolving into multi-purpose community hubs offering services and activities accessible to all.
If you visit our libraries in Cwmbran, Pontypool or Blaenavon, you will be able to borrow e-books and e-magazines; use a computer or tap into the Wi-Fi; participate in a vibrant and varied programme of activities or learn new skills... all for free. These are just a few of the reasons to visit.
We need your help
While lots of residents already use their local library regularly, we realise that they may not know about all the services that are on offer. Others may not feel they have a reason to visit. So, we'd like to ask you all a couple of questions and see why this is the case!
If you use your local library, we would like your views.
If you haven't used your local library in a long time, or ever, we need your views too.
Please help us ensure the libraries offer what your community needs by taking part in the short survey below. It won't take long and your opinions are valued.
It's Your Library, Your Say
Survey opens 8th October and closes Friday 21st November, 2025.
