Increase litter bins near litter hotspot areas.
Litter on our streets collected by volunteers is mainly bottled ,plastics and cans which is going to landfill..Appropriate designed recycling bins will increase the recycling rates.

Pedal bin bags
I used cheap pedal bin bags for my food waste. Sit easily in the kitchen caddy. Can be tied to stop flies and spillage then for the outside caddy. Peel my veg peelings directly over the caddy. Make sure everything goes in - egg shells . Tea bags. Coffee. Plate scraping. Anything. Don’t understand why people would still be putting in black bin. By keeping seperate helps keep main bin cleaner and less smelly

Food waste is the easiest way to raise the rate. Could the council start making more people aware . In my street10% use the bins!
