Following issues raised by residents, Torfaen Council officers and local councillors have recently met with the residents of Hillcrest in New Inn to discuss their parking concerns.
It was agreed that five mapped drawings would be produced to provide residents with options that they could then vote on to decide how we might best resolve the concerns raised.

The proposals on the drawings feature a mixture of parking restrictions to discourage people from leaving their cars idling in the morning and afternoon when they drop their children off at school and improve access for residents.
