Are you aware that Torfaen Council has changed the way it manages some of the verges and green spaces it manages in the borough (i.e. leaving areas of grass and wildflowers uncut between April and September)?
Do you support the changes made so far?
We aim to ensure that grassland near junctions of roads is cut in a way that supports biodiversity while also maintaining visibility for traffic.
However, are you aware that you can report any concerns regarding visibility at road junctions by contacting the council directly or via Report It on the council's website.
The council is proposing to manage more sites in this way (see map for proposed and existing locations). Do you support this proposal?
Do you have any comments you would like to make regarding the way land is managed for biodiversity?
