As part of the network, we are keen to hear, learn and shine a spotlight on the positive climate and community stories that are happening in our home, Torfaen.

Climate Ambassadors Torfaen hosted their very first event during Great Big Green Week 2022. Over the course of two weekends, the group held a meet and greet outside Zero Waste Torfaen to chat about all things seed saving, active travel and what matters to you with respect to climate action in Torfaen. 

Kani and Patrick gave their electric cargo bike out for spin and supported Lauren at Zero Waste Torfaen in her shopping deliveries. This sparked wonderful conversations with members of the public on the benefits and everyday realities of using an electric bike. 

We enjoyed meeting and chatting with everyone who came to see us outside Zero Waste Torfaen for #GreatBigGreenWeek. Here is what you said that mattered most to you and what you would like to see happening in Torfaen. We will now use this information to inform our next steps and are looking forward to keeping these important conversations happening.
