To see prospects improve for communities. Find out what job potential/attraction can happen. See merging of charities and council for challenges. Be involved in knowing the progress of youth activities, festivals, and funding opportunities.  

What do you hope a Blaenau Gwent Deal will achieve?

Regenerate communities pride and prospects, make use of Gwent’s natural environment for location job attracting from big companies and attracting events

Healthier prospects and community pride.

Why did you want to be part of the Citizen’s Assembly?

I want to shade a society where my children feel proud to live and be part of.

What do you hope a Blaenau Gwent Deal will achieve?

A new outlook on the future. Thinking differently of our communities and changing the industries we used to have into something new.

Why did you want to be part of the Citizen’s Assembly?

I wanted to lend my voice and lived experience to drive the thinking for the best deal available for Blaenau Gwent. I want the best for the place I live, so let’s make a difference together.

What do you hope a Blaenau Gwent Deal will achieve?

I hope the deal with create stronger communities, drive improvements in the area and provide a happier and friendlier place to live.

To help shape the future for the next generation.

To make the county thrive and make people proud of the area.

Why did you want to be part of the Citizen’s Assembly?

My grandmother was Milicent Dean and was always involved in local politics. I’ve always been interested in local history. It’s just nice to feel like you have got a say in things.

I want to feel like residents are being listened to.

Why did you want to be part of the Citizen’s Assembly?

To share my views and listen to others to make my community a better place to live.

Cooperation with and between the council and its residents.

Why did you want to be part of the Citizen’s Assembly?

To help share my lived experience of my community and public / private spaces. To connect with our lovely friendly neighbours and community members whom given modern lives would not otherwise have the opportunity to meet.

What do you hope a Blaenau Gwent Deal will achieve?

To create a fairer healthier more environmentally and community forward local society so that our wonderful area can bloom once again.
